Since 1976, M&M Merchandisers has been a national wholesaler of musical instruments and consumer electronics. Tiring of quality issues usually associated with the entry level guitars offered to them at the time, M&M decided to make a change to better serve their dealer base. In July of 2001 M&M introduced their Z.Z. Ryder brands of import electric (as well as Kona and Trinity River) guitars to have better control over the quality and features offered. Most electric models retail at $250 and $350. Electric basses were also available in similar price ranges.
