YUNKER, ERIC

Luthier Eric Yunker (1953-1985) was described as "a man of many skills - poet, printer, inventor, graphic artist, musician, guitar sculptor." Yunker's instruments combined the sculpting aspect of a guitar body with playability, as well. One of the Yunker guitars is on display in the ZZ Top display area at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio. Source: Jas Obrecht, Guitar Player Magazine.
