Don Wilson of The Ventures and his son Tim Wilson started Wilson Bros. Guitars in 2004. The Ventures played Mosrite guitars in the 1960s, and had their own line of Mosrite guitars for many years. Nearly 40 years after the last Mosrite Ventures model was produced, Wilson started building a Ventures model again. This new line of guitars is completely designed by the Ventures. There is a budget line produced in Korea, and a custom line produced in Japan. They also produced a Strat-style guitar, Mosrite-style bass, P-style bass, and an acoustic line.
