Walker guitars were produced in Brazil using woods from the Amazon rainforest. Don't worry, all wood that was used in Walker guitars was approved by the Brazilian Institute of Enivronmental Control (IBAMA), under a special program designed to protect the Amazon rainforest. The Amazon series of guitars were based on the Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Jazz Bass body styles with exotic woods such as embuia, cedro, and tauari. These woods truly gave the guitar a beautiful and original look to them. Walker also used Lace Music Products pickups and D'Addario strings. Hering USA distributes these guitars and they are also very well known for their harmonicas.
Instruments previously produced in Brazil during the mid-2000s. Distributed in the U.S. by Hering USA, Co. in Miami, FL.
