Designer William Paul Jarowsky's objective was to construct a guitar which enhanced the sound quality as well as the playability. Jarowsky developed the patented Soundport System electric guitars, which features a contoured semi- hollow body with top soundports hand-sculpted into the hollow chambers between the pickups.
All models feature a through-body neck, and contoured bodies. The Natural is the original version of Jarowsky's design, and features a high gloss, satin, or hand-rubbed finish that brings out the grain patterns of the wood. The Plus model features a variety of Translucent stains on an all maple or all ash body; the Ultra features high gloss solid finishes. Jarowsky's Limited and Limited Special models feature selected and exotic woods in their constructions. Currently, the Superior Classic (with elaborate, full length vine inlay) retails for $9,000, including Ameritage case.
