President Tony Guarriello founded Tregan Guitars to offer beginner and intermediate guitar players instruments that were quality-built, easy to play, and eye-catching. Tregan produces a variety of solidbody electric guitars and basses that are available in Standard and Signature appointments. Tregan's three main solidbody styles include the Shaman, Firewick, and Syren, and the Shaman is also available as a solidbody electric bass. Standard models retail between $770 and $780 while Signature models retail between $900 and $970. The Syren XT was introduced in 2009 and it retails for $950.
