Luthier Kevin Smith opened his GLF Custom shop for guitar repairs and custom building in 1984. In 1996, he began building prototypes for a new guitar design, which in 1997 developed into a full line with different models. Smith also manufactured prototype models for Davy Jones, the Clarksville models, as well as the American-made Vox Reissue guitars from 1998 to 2007. For more information, visit their website.
