Between 1991 to 1997, he performed authorized warranty repairs for virtually every major guitar manufacturer. With 18 months and 2,000 hours design time invested, Wittrock and his team at Stuart Guitar Designs unveiled its first limited production model in 1997. Notable features include a proprietary wood bridge, tone chambers in the neck, "Broken-in" fingerboard, and aged wood, (Company information courtesy Stuart C. Wittrock, September 1997).
