Luthier Rene Roy built hand-crafted acoustic and electric guitars in his Canadian shop. Customers could work directly with Roy to create and design a guitar. The RR Custom Electric Guitar features a curly maple or cherry wood carved top over a Honduran mahogany or alder back. The five piece maple and wenge set-neck has an ebony or rosewood fingerboard, and either gold plated or chromed Gotoh hardware. Roy retired from the guitar business in the mid-2000s.
Instruments previously built in Sudbury, Ontario, Chelmsford, Ontario, and Ottawa, Quebec, Canada between the early 1980s and mid-2000s.
