Luthier Keith Roscoe opened a shop in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1971 called The Guitar Shop. From its early origins of four or five guitars a year, the workshop turned into a production facility capable of 20 to 30 guitars a month. Roscoe had produced over 900 custom guitars by 1990, and three quarters of them featured custom airbrush or color finishes (source: Tom Wheeler, American Guitars).
Keith Roscoe now focuses on bass guitars. His models feature neck and body woods selected from his collection, and special attention is given to matching the woods for both sound and beauty. For further information, please contact Roscoe Guitars directly.
