After luthier/designer Wayne Charvel left Charvel in the late 1980s, he went on to build guitars under a different name a shortwhile later. Charvel, along with luthier Eric Galleta and part owner Brad Becnel produced these guitars, and Ritz guitars are probably best-known for their cracked shell mosaic finish. The first guitars were labeled Ritz, but after only a few guitars were built, the brand was changed to WRC Guitars. For Ritz/WRC Guitar listings, refer to WRC Guitars. Currently, Charvel and his oldest son Michael own the music store Charvel Music and they build guitars under the Wayne Guitars trademark.
Instruments previously built in Calimesa, CA between 1989 and 1990. Also see WRC Guitars.
