Playmate is a trademark used by the Dean Musical Instrument company. These guitars represent beginner guitars that are priced very affordable. The models are based off of some of Dean's popular models like the Avalanche and Evo. Most guitars retail for less than $200 and most guitars are available for sale around $100.
