Mercurio produced guitars that featured interchangeable pickup modules. Pickups could be changed in a matter of seconds through FireWireT technology. Mercurio's PickupPaksT plug into a guitar from the back. Any pickup configuration and pickups from most major manufacturers can be used. Their guitars were built with a mix of materials including aluminum, exotic plastics, carbon composites, and tone woods.
