MEAN GENE GUITARS

Gene Baker and Eric Zoellner were partners in a short lived business arrangement that specialized in guitar building, repair, rehearsal hall rental, and retail sales of guitar-related products. In 1990, Baker also released an instructional video and manual titled Mean Gene's Insane Lead Guitar Manual. Baker estimates that about fifty instruments were produced (many with custom colors and graphics), and usually built from ground up on customer´s specifications. Baker went on to start Baker Guitars and later worked for Ernie Ball/Music Man.
