The Maier trademark was used on a line of electric guitars that were produced in Japan. It is unknown who produced the guitars, who distributed, or if they were even distributed in the U.S. Known models include an ES-335-style semi-hollow body and a Jazzmaster-style body with a built-in amplifier that is powered by two 9 volt batteries. Very little else is known about Maier and any further information can be submitted directly to Blue Book Publications.
