LASHBROOK GUITARS

Luthier Larry Lashbrook began building and repairing guitars in 1964 out of his parents home while he was still a senior in high school. Lashbrook's first guitars were copies of popular American designs including the ES-335 and the Les Paul. In 1972, he moved into his first house that had a shop in the backyard where he continued to expand and experiment with guitars. Lashbrook Guitars continued to grow and expand through the 1970s and in the late 1980s, Lashbrook decided he no longer wanted to produce copied instruments and he set out to design and build a truly new and unique guitar. After almost twenty years of research, development, and experimenting, Lashbrook introduced the model LTH-1 in 2008. Lashbrook advertises the LTH-1 as the world's most innovative and versatile solidbody electric guitar. It features an ultra-thin solid wood body that is carved and contoured, access to all frets, no heel neck, and a lightweight five pound body.
