Luthier Mark Lacey studied formal training in musical instrument technology at the London School of Design, and Lacey has been repairing and building fine instruments since 1974. During that time, he spent two years at Gruhn Guitars in Nashville, TN, where he gained insight from noted vintage guitar expert George Gruhn.
