Jennings-Thompson was a high quality, limited production company located in Austin, TX. Ross Jennings, a former employee of Wayne Charvel (and also a production manager at B.C. Rich), personally built all his instruments along with another luthier. They limited production to about thirty basses and guitars a year, and worked with the customer to ensure that the commissioned instrument would be exactly tailored to their individual playing style.
Pendulum and Spectrum basses had a retail price beginning at $3,699 (four-string) up to $4,099 (six-string). Their guitars carried a list price of $2,599.
