J. BACKLUND DESIGN GUITARS

Luthier Bruce Bennett started building custom guitars in 1979 in Chattanooga, TN. After having apprenticed for shops like Griffin Guitars, Steinburger/Tobias Guitars, and Gibson Guitars, Bennett designed and helped create the Warrior Instrument line in 1995 in Rossville, GA. In 2001, a new prototyping-style shop was opened inside The Pickers Exchange (a local Chattanooga music store). In 2008, operations were moved to the facility on Cherokee Boulevard where production of the J. Backlund Design Guitars currently takes place. Instruments are built to exact specifications on a customer request basis. Custom hand-wired tube amps, effects pedals and Dracowyre branded cables are also offered by the Bennett Music Labs division. For more information, visit J. Backlund's website or contact them directly.
Instruments currently built in Chattanooga, TN since 2007.
