H.S. Anderson guitars were hand-made instruments built circa 1970s. Very little information is known about this trademark. A few examples include a Telecaster copy, a symmetrical double cutaway, and a mini-body called "The Apple." Most of these guitars appear to be mid- to high quality with various features. A 1976 flyer indicates that David Wexler & Co. in Chicago, IL was an exclusive distributor. These guitars appear to valued between $250 and $350 depending upon how rare the instrument is. Any information on this trademark or the guitars would be welcome and can be submitted to the Blue Book of Electric Guitars. Any further updates will be included in upcoming editions.
Instruments previously produced in either Canada or CA, circa 1970s.
