HOYER

The Hoyer company was founded in 1874 and produced a wide range of good to high quality solid body, semi-hollow body, and archtop guitars, with some emphasis on the later during the 1960s. During the early 1970s, there was some production of solidbodied guitars with an emphasis on classic American designs.
The Hoyer trademark was re-introduced in the 1990s with the cheerful "A Legend is Back!" motto. Martin Ritter's firm Ritter Brands Ltd. purchased the Hoyer guitar brand name and trademarks in 2009.
