Heart guitars were modeled after the popular guitars during the mid-1980s with their own distinctive features. Guitars featured a uniquely-shaped headstock with a raised heart on the top, heart fingerboard inlays, six-bolt neck construction, EMG pickups, and rosewwood pickup surrouds. Guitars were offered as double cutaway models with one or two pickups and bass models featured a slightly offset double cutaway body with J-style and P-style pickups.
