Luthier James M. Hamilton builds a limited edition Stevie Ray Vaughn (SRV) replica custom guitar similar to the one that Vaughn played for a minimum of two songs each Gig from the day he received it in 1984, including the videos "Couldn't Stand the Weather" and "Cold Shot" and in his live performances. This guitar was commissoned by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top in 1979. This model is also available with the customer's name or logo inlaid with MOP. The Hamiltone Classic is also available, and features a bolt-on one-piece maple neck similar to a Fender Stratocaster. Hamiltone has also built custom guitars in the past. For further information and specifications, visit Hamiltone's website or contact luthier Hamilton directly. Starting in 2010, the Hamiltone guitar company also started building Hand wired tube amplifiers. The "Sic String Slinger" is a 100 watt 4-6L6 Tube Head that emulates the "SRV" tone, very Clean but with an edge. The "Austin overdrive" is a channel switching Head with 4-6L6 Tubes for 100 Watts allowing the player to switch between Clean and Crunchy with the built in Foot pedal. Custom builds are also available. For further information and specifications, visit Hamiltone's website or contact luthier Hamilton directly.
