Guilford Guitars, Inc. was incorporated in July 2007. Prior to that time, American master luthier John Guilford was building the fine electric guitars he's known for today as far back as 2001 with well over 100 guitars in circulation to date. Guilford's primary focus is on solidbody and semi-hollow electric guitars of the finest quality using select tonewoods, nitrocellulose finish, Seymour Duncan pickups, and the finest hardware and components available. Guilford guitars are found on stage in the hands of such diverse artists as Ted Nugent, Ty Tabor (King's X, Jelly Jam), Damon Johnson (Thin Lizzy/Alice Cooper), Steve Blaze (Lillian Axe), Christian Love (The Beach Boys), Gary Hooker (Brad Paisley), Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), and John 5 (Rob Zombie).
