Godlyke basses were introduced at the Winter NAMM show in 2003 as part of Godlyke Distributing who produces a wide range of effects. These basses are completely assembled by hand in Japan with no use of a CNC machine at all. Two series of basses were offered with the Disciple Series (bolt-on necks) and the Deity Series (NTB design, exotic wood caps, and gold hardware). Most basses were available in four-, five-, eight-, and ten-string configurations. Prices started around $800 for the Disciple Series and around $1,700 for the Deity Series.
Bass guitars previously produced in Japan between 2003 and 2008. Distributed by Godlyke Distributing, Inc. in Clifton, NJ.
