Luthier Charles Fitzpatrick built semi-hollow body electric archtop guitars in 15 in., 16 in., 17 in., and 18 in. body widths. The Jazz Box Select features single cutaway body consisting of fancy quilted or flamed maple with matching rim and neck, solid carved top of North American spruce, fine line black and white body binding, mother-of-pearl block fingerboard inlays, gold tune-o-matic tailpiece, bound tortoiseshell finger rest, and a suspended jazz pickup. List prices ranged between $3,270 and $4,500. The list price included a hardshell case, and a wide range of options and custom inlays were also available.
