ERLEWINE GUITARS

Luthier Mark Erlewine began building guitars and basses with his cousin Dan (noted repairman/columnist for Guitar Player magazine) in Ypsilanti, MI in 1969. Mark moved the shop to Austin, Texas five years later and continued building guitars as well as performing repairs and custom work. Erlewine Guitars is still based in Austin.
