The El Dégas trademark was a brand name used by U.S. importers Buegeleisen & Jacobson of New York, NY. These Japanese-built guitars featured the Replica Series that ironically enough were all copies of popular American models. Source: Michael Wright, Guitar Stories, Volume One.
