These entry level instruments were originally distributed by the Pennino Musical Corporation, and later by Aria USA. Designs mostly fell in the strat or superstrat guitar configuration, and a pointy headstock/sleek curves P-Bass bass guitar. The trademark on the headstock generally read "DIAMOND by Aria."
