Luthier Michael DeTemple builds electric solidbody guitars based very closely on the 1950s Fender Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Esquires. After many years of playing, repairing, and restoring guitars, he saw how much vintage Fenders were increasing in value and how impractical they were to play for gigs anymore. He studied every aspect of these old 1950s guitars and started producing guitars called "Vintage Design solidbody electrics." Guitars are part of the Spirit Series and each model is hand-built with several options available. Prices start around $5,750.
