Charles Coté Basses was a family owned business that was founded in Atlanta, GA in 1992. Coté began building guitars in 1987, and worked as a guitar builder from 1989 to 1991 at John Buscarino's Nova Guitar Company. A professional bassist for a number of years, Coté brought his player's experience to his designs, and each instrument featured a hand carved neck and body.
