Luthier John Walsh produces acoustic, electric semi-acoustic, and electric guitars. He chose to produce guitars in Ridgeway CO because of the dry and relatively mild climate. Early in his career, it was estimated that Walsh produced about 24 guitars a year. Currently he produces about 30-40 instruments a year. The Electric Model One features a semi-hollow double cutaway body with bent wood sides, Rio Grande pickups, Sperzel tuners, and numerous custom options. The Model One starts at $950.
