The Charvette trademark was distributed by the Charvel/Jackson company as a good quality entry level guitar based on their original Jackson USA superstrat designs. Where the Charvel and Jackson models may sport Jackson pickups, Charvettes invariably had Charvel pickups to support a company/product unity.
Instruments previously produced in Korea from 1989 to 1994. Charvette, an entry level line to Charvel, was distributed by the International Music Corporation of Ft. Worth, Texas.
