Luthier John Brown builds custom electric guitars and basses at Brown's Guitar Factory (BGF). One of Brown's most innovative designs is their patented Fretted/Less bass neck that features a combination fretted and fretless fingerboard. There are multiple options that are offered such as the first octave (12 frets) fretted and the second octave (less the 23rd and 24th frets) fretless. BGF also specializes in vintage restoration and is an authorized repair center for many large manufacturers including Fender, Gibson, Martin, Gretsch, Jackson, Epiphone, Ovation, Takamine, Warwick, and Ibanez.
