Bohemian Guitars produces a unique line of guitars made out of vintage oil cans, other scrap metals, and other uncoventional upcycled materials. Brothers Adam and Shaun Lee founded Bohemian Guitars in 2012 after they saw musicians repurposing used items into instruments in their hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa. When Shaun came back to the U.S., he began building a guitar out of an old oil can. After a Kickstarter campaign, they began producing a full line of guitars under the Bohemian Guitars trademark. The Boho Series all feature guitar bodies crafted from recycled metals and discarded woods. The Vintage Series are all unique one-of-a-kind guitars that have been up-cycled or made out of recycled materials. Bohemian Guitars is also into music education and sustainability with their instruments. Bohemian Guitars sell for $299 and can be purchased directly from their website.
