The original Biaxe Guitar company manufactured instruments for roughly eight years. When the company briefly reformed, they focused on retrofit devices that yielded the sound of a fretless bass on a fretted neck bass guitar. Dubbed "The Fretless Wizard," the kits were attached to the bridge of a bass guitar, produced for four-, five-, and six-string basses, and included an instructional cassette.
Instruments previously built in Stamford, CT between 1978 and 1985.
