Bernie Rico Jr. is the son of Bernie Rico Sr., who founded B.C. Rich guitars. Rico Sr. trained Rico Jr. on the art and craft of building guitars. Bernie Jr. is now producing a line of hand-carved guitars and basses. They provide a custom-shop style of guitar where the customer can pick almost any option on the instrument. They have several styles of guitars including the Alias, Dr. Jekyll, Hellion, Menace, Mr. Hyde, Phat Daddy, SB/SN, Sinister, V.I.P., Xcaliber, and Xcaliber SC. Bolt-on models (disc.) started at $2,100, and neck-thru models start at $2,499. Four-String basses start at $2,799.
