Belltone was the brand name of the Peter Sorkin Music Company. The Sorkin company distributed Premier guitars, which were built at the Multivox company of New York. Other guitars built or distributed (possibly as rebrands) were Royce, Strad-O-Lin, and Marvel. Parts varied, as pickups were Japanese, while the roller bridges may have been Italian or Japanese. Instruments previously manufactured in Japan, or constructed of Japanese-produced parts during the late 1960s.
