Antares guitars were designed for entry-level musicians and guitar students. Most guitars were solidbodies based on traditional American designs with advertised prices starting around $100. Antares also offered acoustic guitars.
Instruments previously manufactured in Korea during the 1980s and 1990s. Distributed in the U.S. by Vega Musical Instruments (VMI) Industries in Brea, CA.
