Austrian luthier Andreas Pichler started building guitars in 1995 with the unique Shark model. Unique features of this guitar include an aluminum neck and a softcoat finish that is difficult to scuff. Andreas introduced some variations of the Shark guitar in the late 1990s/early 2000s as well as a bass line. In 2003, Andreas became part of Thomastik-Infeld and two other models were introduced. In 2004, Andreas stopped production of his guitars (approx. 300 guitars were manufactured total) to focus on independent guitar design. In 2005, Andreas teamed up with Reinhold Bogner to create the 360 Synergy guitar and amp system, and in 2007 he began designing the Baden acoustic guitar line. Andreas is currently a clothing designer in the Los Angeles, CA area.
Instruments previously manufactured in Dollach, Austria between 1995 and 2004. Previously distributed by Connolly & Co, located in East Northport, NY, until 2002 and by Thomastik-Infeld Vienna, Austria between 2003 and 2004.
