AMAZING MUSICAL INSTRUMENT COMPANY

Mike Zimmerman started the Amazing Musical Instrument Company in the late 1980s as a musical instrument manufacturer. Amazing established themselves in the music industry with a design patent for a violin that was dubbed "the world's most ergonomically correct violin," with features such as guitar-style tuners, an adjustable bridge, and an output jack that routed the cable over the player's shoulder. Amazing also developed a guitar, bass guitar, and mandolin as well as other orchestra instruments including a cello and a bass. The company folded in 1989, and they produced approximately 400 instruments total - half of which were violins. Information courtesy Scott Freilich, 20th Century Guitar.
Guitars, basses, and other musical instruments previously produced in Toronto, Ontario, Canada between 1987 and 1989.
