These entry level solid body guitars feature a built in amplifier and three inch speaker that can be defeated by an on/off switch. The overall design is Les Paul-derived with a thinner width body and a bolt-on neck, with the speaker mounted in the body area behind the stop tailpiece. Synsonics also builds a mini solid body guitar dubbed the Junior Pro.
