The Richmond line of guitars was launched by Godin at Musikmesse, 2008 and is the seventh independent trademark under Godin Guitars (other trademarks include Godin, Seagull, Simon & Patrick, Norman, La Patrie, and Art & Lutherie). Richmond guitars are solidbody electrics and are named after the city they are manufactured in: Richmond, Quebec. Robert Godin, along with his top guitar designer, developed the Richmond guitar line by combining the retro look/style of guitars from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s with modern technology and construction methods. The first two models include the Belmont and Dorechester models. For more information, visit Richmond's website or contact them directly.
