Luthier Robert Othon offered a range of high quality, solid body guitars that featured a lightweight top of solid rock. Othon's patented process produces a layer of stone so thin that it adds only six to eight ounces to the total weight. Both the Classic and the Highlander feature offset double cutaway alder bodies, while the Viking has a Honduran mahogany body and a slight flare to the forward horns. The Traditional features a single cutaway swamp ash body, two single coils, and a fixed bridge. All models feature bolt-on hard rock maple necks and 25.5 in. scale lengths.
Instruments previously built in Orangevale, CA during the mid- to late 1990s.
