The GTX trademark was distributed by the Kaman Corporation. These guitars are based on several electric American designs including the Stratocaster, Les Paul, P-style basses, J-style basses, and even early PRS models! Some models featured a hybrid locking tremolo and some had a feedback sustain unit. Kaman Music aquired Hamar guitars in the late 1980s and once Hamer became larger and more important, Kaman dropped the GTX brand.
Instruments previously produced in Korea. Distributed by the Kaman Music Corporation of Bloomfield, CT from 1988-1994.
