Dewey Decibel produced the Flipout model, which is based on a Fender Stratocaster with a neck mounted on the opposite end of the guitar. The Flipout is a fully functional, playable guitar and was not intended to be a novelty item. Fender licensed the Stratocaster design to Flipout and every component works aside from the output jack that was moved underneath the unused neck heel cavity. About 500 Flipouts were produced in Korea between 2004 and 2007 before production ceased. Dewey Decibel also worked on a Fender P-Bass model tentatively called the Bottom Out, but only a few prototypes were produced.
