H.A. Weymann & Son, Incorporated was established in 1864 in Philadelphia. Later, it incorporated as the Weymann Company in 1904, and distributed numerous guitar models that ranged from entry level student up to fine quality. Other trademarks may include Weymann, Keystone State, W & S, and Varsity. Some of the guitars were actually produced by Vega or Regal, and share similarities to the company of origin's production instruments.
Instruments previously built in Philadelphia, PA between 1864 and the 1940s. Some models under the Weymann & Son trademark were built by Regal (Chicago, IL), and Vega (Boston, MA).
