Peerless began producing acoustic and arcthop guitars in Japan in 1970. Since then, Peerless has built guitars for Gretsch, Epiphone, and Alvarez. In the early years, Peerless was building nearly 30,000 instruments a month, but they currently produce less than 1,000 guitars a month to focus on quality instead of quantity. In late 2007, they moved to a new factory in Gimhae, Korea. Guitars currently range in price from $500 to $2,800. Martin Taylor is an endorser and has designed a signature model that is produced by Peerless Guitars. For more information, visit Peerless' website or contact them directly or their U.S. distributor.
