ORIGINAL HOUND DOG

The Original Hound Dog trademark has appeared on many different resonator guitars, but according to sources, it has only appeared on a line of acoustic flattops that were produced in Japan during the mid-1970s. These acoustics are similar to many popular Martin acoustics from the 1970s including a D-35-style guitar with a three-piece back. Serial numbers are six digits inked on the back of the headstock similar to Gibson's serial numbers from the 1960s and 1970s.
