Luthiers Manuel Hernandez and Victoriano Aguado combined guitar making skills to build world class classical guitars. According to a newspaper article in the late 1960s or early 1970s, Hernandez had built almost 400 guitars. All guitars were built by hand in his small Madrid shop.
